Redefining US University Admissions
We believe every student deserves access to unbiased higher education data, free from the influence of agency commissions.
Our Mission
UsUniMatch was built to address a transparency gap in the U.S. university application process. Traditional agencies may steer students toward schools that pay commissions rather than the best academic or financial fit — we want you to steer with data.
The product brings together searchable filters, side-by-side compare for up to three schools, favorites, blog guides, and — with Pro — the full catalog plus per-school application tracking. We don’t take commissions from universities; we organize the data for you to read.
- No commissions from universities
- Filterable directory and compare
- Pro: full catalog and application tracker
From the founder
Why we built this
As an international student, answering “which number is real?” for U.S. college costs took forever. Consultants were expensive, and shortlists often felt biased. We built UsUniMatch to put official data on everyone’s desk.
Today we ship a product aligned with CDS / Scorecard-style transparency: commission-free, clear sourcing, and tools for you to own your shortlist. Pro opens the full catalog and an application dashboard for students who want to run the whole season here.

Why you can trust us
Before you pay, here’s the product truth — not agency marketing:
- We don’t take commissions from universities; paid placement doesn’t reorder your search.
- Profiles show data lineage and freshness notes — no magic admission guarantees.
- The free tier includes real search and compare; Pro adds scale and application tracking.
- Checkout runs through a secure payment provider; we don’t store your card number.
- Cancellation and billing are documented; reach us via FAQ and email.
Data sources and freshness
College Scorecard
U.S. Department of Education public data (costs, admissions, enrollment, and related fields).
IPEDS / NCES
The federal framework for postsecondary statistics, aligned with Scorecard-style reporting.
Curated dataset
We normalize fields into one model; each profile links to official sites with a note on price freshness.
Official releases are tied to academic years, so figures often lag about one to two years. Always confirm current amounts on the university’s own site. We refresh the dataset on a periodic sync schedule.
What we offer
UsUniMatch is not application consulting or an admissions guarantee — it’s an information and planning tool to speed up research.
- Free tier: curated sample; Pro: 1,700+ university profiles
- Filters for region, cost signals, aid hints, and acceptance rates
- Compare up to three schools side by side
- Pro: favorites, ad-free UI, and application tracker
Methodology
Profile amounts are largely derived from College Scorecard and similar open data; rounding and summarization may apply.
Scholarship and net-cost lines are indicative; your actual offer may differ. School links point to official sources where possible.
Limits and disclaimer
We don’t provide legal, tax, or immigration advice. Admission, visa, and aid outcomes are decided only by the relevant institutions and authorities. Use the site as a starting point, not the final word.
Pricing and refunds
Paid features are sold by subscription. Paid subscription fees are not refunded. Canceling stops the next renewal; access continues through the period you already paid for.
